Golf is illegal to remove the pin before the ball is hit so the ball rests on the periphery?
A friend told me one of his colleagues in the League said it was against the rules of golf to remove the rod if the ball is (or is about to be) struck the tape / deck. In other words, says pin must be left in the hole until the ball stops at least the ball starts at the surface of the green. Copyright? I can not find anything about it so please quote the USGA Rules of Golf, if possible. Thank you.
