ECCO already known for its fashion-forward approach adopted for golf shoes, one step further (sorry) with the road Premiere. The company describes the model "inspired street" as, and encourages the buyer's shoes, "contribute both on and off the course.

ECCO Street's premiere features distressed leather uppers, a removable Cambrelle insole cover, and preformed traction bars. Pre-molded traction bars? It means that despite the absence of spikes – metal, soft or not – these babies handle the lawn like honest to goodness Golf shoes.
The Dutch company, one of the world's biggest shoe brands, is not the only company pushing the style envelope. In their never-ending Search for young consumers, companies such as Nike and Puma have shoes that would look at home in a half pipe.

Unlike Nike's entry ECCO is equipped with spikes. (So much for the bowling alley.) We think these shoes ultra-hip, but do not take our word for it. Puma Marketing Division ups the cool quotient with the statement: "If James Bond played golf, he would this shoe to bear. "
Guess the guys at Puma never seen Goldfinger. But we give them a pass on this one, because the Cell fusion is indeed pretty cool.
Puma shoes trumpets its "state-of-the-art SmartQuill spikes and optimal traction provided by" directional locking technology. "The Cell is Fusion in black and white and white-blue snorkel.

Apart from ECCO, Nike and Puma, are companies despite heavy tradition adidas, Callaway and Asics, a newcomer to the golf shoe Wars. Even old guard and FootJoy brands, such as Etonic offer youth-tilting models, while upstart has Brisol get a quick start and won in the market.
