The wedding reception BBQ sticky?
My boyfriend and I did not have much money to devote to our marriage. We will have our wedding Golf Course promised my favorite, then the reception in his parents garden. (Which is about 15 minutes from a golf course). Do you think this sounds like a good idea, or is 15 minutes? We also want BBQ, maybe ribs, chicken and maybe … its not bad taste? We are thinking of doing a buffet, and also a fruit salad, Caesar salad, macaroni salad, etc. …. We will create tables with a thick linen table, and had mistresses paint everything Nice. Should we use ceramic plates? Will you use cloth napkins nice! All ideas will be useful, thank you very much!
I do not think it's tacky at all! Fun and the menu is great. My only advice is maybe not the ribs. You can fork your way through the other stuff, but the notion of people dressed pretty nice to eat ribs is a bit disturbing. I did a brief stint as a caterer, and always avoid the ribs and wings to the wedding. His dishes perfect sound. Do not forget coleslaw! So many people like corn grill. (Not on the COB, of course, only canned or frozen, butter and salt and pepper – Easy, delicious and cheap). In the table of plastic and paper would be good enough, but if you want cloth napkins, so I use non-plastic plates. And then, probably money, but for a buffet, can be wrapped in towels and nobody will know you have 8 different types of family members.
