4. Fifty Places to Play More Golf, before you die Author: Chris Santella; Publisher: Stewart, Tabori & Chang
OK, I'm a little biased here because I am one of the authors. Likewise, I would not have contributed to the continuation, if I Chris Santella had not found the original book so enjoyable. Beauty is in the format: Santella taps in 50 well-traveled golf insiders and invite them to a course play before your trip are to identify with – and why it is necessary to play. He weaves the story laced stories with interesting facts, of course, that he gained through his research friends. The result is 50 powerful force, and of course stories. Courses range from Munis in the U.S. is spreading in China and Uruguay, with sharp Resort to meet photography. Most courses are public access, but the author let me rave about Cypress Point, my favorite course anywhere. This is a difficult Question to get to. Bob Hope is probably best. "One year they had a large membership drive in Cypress. They went from 40 members." Play It once, if you can before you are ready for your days.
