Professional Golf Caddies how to measure distances in the hole during a tournament round?
I have not seen carrying a cart golf or one of these cameras assisted GPS measuring devices to calculate the distance of a hole in particular. The only thing that seems to carry a laptop .. Thus, electronic devices to help and just do not see it used in television coverage or follow a different method? Or Is it a combination? Really interested to know what guyz .. Thank you ..
They use an old school book garden created for the tournament. Usually, media sites to buy books before the tournament, then walk the course to see pictures and movies by adding to and from specific points. They can use range finder / GPS during practice rounds, but are verboten during the tournament games. Anyway, the picture continues to walk the course on their own at least once before Thursday. Players / caddies are given pin sheets showing the distances in the hole … is a crude drawing of the green with two numbers (One for the front or rear, and one on the left or right).
