What is a true temper d4 swing weight?
True temper is a shaft manufacturer. Swingweight is a measure of how ‘heavy’ the clubhead feels when you swing it. d4 is a weight measurement called a swingweight point. It goes from a to b to c .. to g and each letter can go from 0 to 10. So the next one after c10 is d0. My personal swingweight is d2 and I am a 2 handicap index and drive 350 yds. Tiger Wood’s is d4 and he is well… Tiger Woods. Ping irons I believe are usually d2, to give you a frame of reference.

Any club can have this weight. You can increase/decrease swingweight by increasing the length of the club, putting lead weight on the head, decreasing/increasing the grip weight, using a heavier shaft.
